Whiteboard marker left ghost marks on mirror?

I wrote on the mirror with whiteboard marker, and whenever the mirror fogs up the writing reappears. Ive tried drawing over it with the marker again and wiping it off, easy off bam, mr sheen, vodka, spray and wipe, baking soda, nothing works!
