I consider my self a liberal generally but dosen't their foreign policy kinda suck?

I mean here we are the greatest country alive and starving for oil yet we took over the biggest producer of oil in the middle east. Plus we give away our interest to NATO yet nobody likes us. We should just take over a country exploit the crap out of it. It's like we can't capitalize on the opportunities the right has given us. PS I'm a Texas Democrat so............ That would be like a Republican Machusetts Senator
