Wow, so many ignorant answers. I challenge anyone to give up our food and safety laws as well as workplace laws in order to go and work in China or Thailand. This has been a pattern for the past few decades, and has been encouraged by Republican-ped bills giving tax incentives for the move. In many cases, outsourcing has not proven the panacea for companies, who use the excuse that they are "global" and so should their production be. There are still about 3,000 jobs a month lost to off-shoring.
