Would a squier strat be able to play AC/DC or Wolfmother well?

hmm i don't know. personally i think squiers are not that good of guitars for anything. their tone quality is not good for your preference unless you have a super good amp. in my opinion, id say buy a gibson like guitar with humbuckers, especially if you want to play AC/DC. hope this helps.
