Is there absolutly NO way to redeem oneself in this UNFORGIVING society?

I posted a very true and self-affacing question about being molested as a child. Yes some of my questions in the past had been a bit...well....questionable, perhaps it can all be traced back to being misused as a child. I am trying to get straight. Can someone please give me a BREAK??
