What happened to my friend?

okay so me and my friend were in a snowy area, and we were practicing shooting with these huge shotguns. and my friend aimed at a fuzzy fat polar bear, and he growled at him and jumped on him and hurt him really badly. now my friend is just ignoring me. and NO HE IS NOT DEAD. he has a pulse, and he's walking and moving, but he's not talking to me.
