Why do people name their kids fake names that aren't even actually ethnic?

Dude...it's NOT the seventies anymore. Let's stop this trend now. If certain black people think they're connecting with their culture by giving them fake names, they're not. They're actually discociating themselves from their ancestors if not pissing on their heritage. Your African-American ancestors had names like Sam, Ella, and Dinah Mae and your African ancestors had names like Menes, Suah and Orbour. NOT LaTrina and D'Ronique or whatever. So cut the crap. They're NOT you're culture. Oh yeah, and I think latrine is Latin for toilet.
