Where to live in Philadelphia?

My husband and I are moving to Phili in the summer of next year. I will be stationed at Willow Grove and my husband will be working at UPenn. We have a 1 year old boy right now and plan on having more children. We are looking for somewhere convienent to both our jobs, safe, affordable, and has a great sense of community. Does this exist? Any advice would be great!
