Scared of Prenatal Bloodwork?

Okay this is going to sound TOTALLY ridiculous but I need some help LOL ..... I'm absolutely petrified to get my prenatal bloodwork done ... There is nothing wrong with me and I'm not scared of needles yet Its literally like a crippling fear that when I think about it I feel sick. I have no idea why I feel this way! .. I'm a first timer and i spoke to my doctor about it and she said its the fear of the unknown. Can anyone relate or sympathize? ughh I know i sound totally crazy!
