Romantic rowins in england?

I am planning on a day out with my partner, and thought of going to the countryside with a nice lake, somewhere peaceful. Can anyone suggest any nice lakes or lochs where we would be able to get a rowing boat out. Ive searched online but it looks very busy and not romantic like id want.. can you advise? xx
