If Israel demanded America's unconditional surrender, would our govt. comply?

Yesterday, a Christian conservative stated "we're a Christian country and it's our duty to protect the Jews." If Israel declared war on us, demanding that we surrender, would Christians refuse to defend our country against their nukes and raise the white flag?
